Jan Van Tassell is a versatile artist whose works include drawing, painting and pottery. He has a BFA from Syracuse University and a MS in Art and Education from the University of Southern Maine.

He is a member of ArtCenter Manatee, the Artists’ Guild on Anna Maria Island, the Artist Guild of the Kennebunks, River Tree Center of the Arts, the Sanford Springvale Art Association, and is a signature member of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society.

His watercolor paintings reflect his love of nature and of the sea.
